Position Summary: Our Sales Intelligence practice is seeking an experienced market research specialist who has the ability to analyze both public and privately held corporations on behalf of our high-technology clients. As a market research analyst, you will have primary responsibility to examine the different business units and IT departments of any organization to identify current and potential selling/marketing opportunities. This includes uncovering hard-to-find data on accounts and/or industry markets and analyzing this data to determine the go-to-market strategy for a particular client solution. This is a very interesting and challenging job that requires strategic thought leadership and analysis.

As a valued team member, you will be required to provide input into strategic marketing activities and work under limited direction.

Primary Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Researching target accounts and/or industry markets.
• Developing a business, financial and technology profile.
• Outlining an account penetration strategy.
• Creating a marketing plan.

Qualified candidates should have:

• B.S. or MBA, Concentration in Strategic Management or Marketing preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read and understand company financials
• A broad understanding of the technology industry relative to key trends, operational functions, business drivers and strategies.
• Market Research, qualitative analysis, helpful.
• The ability to translate/derive new opportunities and address customer's business problems using his/her industry knowledge.
• Understanding/experience in selling/marketing.
• Ability to work independently, yet on a production schedule.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Consistent follow-up and follow-through on all assigned tasks.
• Strong technology skills in the use of personal computers, database management tools and related software applications.
• Strong work ethic, high energy level, ability to multi-task and demonstrate a positive attitude.
